Well, I just caught a cold last night and I'm fighting anyway. I know that sounds crazy but I guess we'll find out in the next seven hours whether it's courage or idiocy or some combination of both. Wish me luck!
Just remember Wrath, winning the fight doesn't determine your manhood. Choosing to fight in the face of uncertainty does! Any idiot can throw punches when he knows he's going to win. Bullies, in fact, do it all the time. But it takes real balls to engage in battle not knowing the outcome! Thats what you're doing! I salute you, brother! Regardless of what happens -- you're still a champion!
Congratulations you stereotype-shattering motherf*cker! You can kick ass and write too!!! Can Stephen King say that? Dean Koontz? Mike Tyson? Oscar De La Hoya? I don't think so! The pen may be mightier than the sword, but you're more than proficient at using both...I'm scared of you!
yo wrath it's justin ... i was a coordinator at pulte/del webb. i was trying to show my friends some of your books and i found your blog. just wanted to say whats up and i hope you won your fight.
I am a writer, former fighter, former MMA trainer, husband, and father of three. I fought professionally for 9 years and trained fighters for 6. I may look mean as hell and write some gruesome stuff and am capable of beating most fools within an inch of their lives but I'm actually a nice guy. Really, I'm a Teddy bear. I am a humanist who believes in man's responsibility to his fellow man and that too many do too little for too few.
I've been publishing for 10 years. Succulent Prey was my first mass-market release followed by The Resurrectionist. If you have a taste for extreme fiction with socio-political and philosophical messages that push boundaries, break taboos, and leave you thinking long after the book has ended then check out Teratologist co-written with Edward Lee, Poisoning Eros co written with Monica O-Rourke, my short story collection,The Book of A thousand Sins, His Pain my novella from Delirium Books, Hero my novella with J.F. Gonzalez from Bloodletting Books, Population Zero from Cargo Cult Press, Yaccub's Curse by Necro Books, and my latest, Everyone Dies Famous In A Small Town published by Thunderstorm Books.

Thanks Erik. Thanks Mojones. And thanks to everyone else who has sent me their well wishes over the last few weeks. I appreciate the show of support.
Oh, by the way, it was a unanimous decision victory and I barely have a scratch on me.
Well done, man.
