The Ressurectionist

In six months Leisure will release my next novel, The Ressurectionist. Unlike Succulent Prey which was originally written for the small press, this one was written with the mass-market in mind. It is written almost entirely from the protagonists' point of view and is probably one of the creepier books I have written. It still has its share of sex and gore though nothing like the over-the-top orgiastic bloodbaths of Succulent Prey. What I think most readers will enjoy about this book is the eerieness of it, watching as the two main characters try to figure out what the hell is happening to them.

The Ressurectionist is the story of a man with the power to bring people back from the dead with no memory of their deaths. But not every miracle comes from God and not every healer is a saint. Dale is a rapist and murderer. When he moves in next to a beautiful woman and her husband he quickly becomes infatuated with his gorgeous neighbor. When she starts to have nightmares of being attacked and killed and begins discovering clues around her house, bloody sheets, clean spots on the floor, a broken lock on the backdoor, Dale finds himself at the center of a murder investigation and his accuser and the police's prime witness is the victim herself.

The Ressurectionist asks the question, "Why would God give such immense power to someone so evil? Why are some of the most powerful people in the world also the most wicked?"

Cargo Cult Press will also be releasing a limited edition hardcover edition of The Ressurectionist in November. I'm sure you will enjoy.
